Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:

Determine which hypertensive patients in your practice might benefit from beta-blocker therapy based on data about cardiovascular outcome endpoints and differences among these agents

Apply clinical strategies for the optimal use of beta-blockers in the management of subsets of hypertensive patients in your practice who may benefit from beta-blocker therapy
